| Peoples Choice & High Point Peoples Choice Performer will advance to State Competition. Every adult admission purchased may vote for People's Choice Award. High Point Winner will receive your entry fee paid in two categories to the State Competition. (At the State Level there is a cash prize added to this category.) You must do vocalist and entertainer then choose the category you feel will be your strongest performance. You will perform one additional song and this score will be added to the category you chose. | Buckeye Country Music Organization of America Qualifier Information Contestants must be a member of the B.C.M.O.A to compete. There is a entry fee of $10.00 per category. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ONLY MONEY ORDERS made out to the Buckeye Country Music Organization of America. Applications received after the postmark deadline will be assessed a $10.00 late fee. What will I be scored on? Clarity / Volume, Tone Quality, Vocal Range, Sustaining Power, Timing, Stage Presence, Grooming, Performer Showmanship Vocal and Entertainer? Vocalist are scored 40 points for items 1 - 4 and Entertainers are scored 20 points for items 1 - 4 and 40 points on items 5 - 8. The top two entries in each category will advance to the State Final. Industrial Categories Songwriter of The Year, Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Patriotic Song of the Year, Christmas Album/CD of the Year, and Video/DVD of the Year. Categories are judged prior to the day of competition. You must send your DVD or CD with your entry form. All industrial awards will be presented the day of competition. Dancers and Clogers Welcome Solo, duet, small groups (3-9) and large groups (10 and up) are welcome. All forms of dance must be of the country genre. Ticket Availability Help pay your entry fee by selling General Memberships. Sell 5 General Memberships 1 category is paid. Sell 10 General Memberships and 2 categories are paid sell over ten you compete in High Point for FREE!! This also gives all GM a free ticket at the door the day of competition and $5.00 admission to all BCMOA competitions and shows this season. CASH ONLY NO PERSONAL CHECKS OR CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. WE DO NOT TAKE CHARGE CARDS Videotaping or Flash Photography NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY PERMITTED INSIDE THE COMPETITION AREA. Video passes will be available at registration for $ 10.00 the day of competition, with written approval from contestant. This pass will allow you to videotape one contestant and the awards ceremony.
